We are starting a 6 month INE cohort. You will have 6 months to complete the training and certification and if you do you will be eligible for a second INE certification at 50% off. The training and first INE certification are $100-200 with $50 refundable upon successful completion of the training. The Training includes virtual INE training and exam voucher. Your options are

Rules of engagement: In order for you to take an exam there has to be at least 3 other people who are taking it with you. These will be your Pod. You must successfully complete the training and the exam in order to have your deposit refunded. You will have to complete an entry and an exit survey for impact after you have completed the training. Most of the training can be completed in less than a month but you have 6 months to schedule and complete your exam. There are no residency requirements for this scholarship program. You will not get the exam voucher until you have completed the training. Once you have completed an exam and passed you can take whatever other exam we have vouchers for in INE within a 6 month period for 50% off. Training and voucher are normally $350-600 depending on the exam.

Tennisha Martin is the founder and Executive Director of BlackGirlsHack (BGH Foundation), a national cyber nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and resources to underserved communities and increasing the diversity in cyber. BlackGirlsHack provides its members with resources, mentorship, direction, and training required to enter and excel in the cyber field. Tennisha has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and Master’s degrees in IT, Healthcare Policy and Management, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, and Business Administration. She has worked in a consulting capacity for over 15 years in penetration testing, project management, risk management, audit, information assurance, quality assurance, software development, and testing roles. The Blue Team Training Program (BTTP) is a comprehensive initiative aimed at equipping cybersecurity professionals with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to excel in defensive operations. This program focuses on empowering participants to proactively detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats, ultimately enhancing overall cyber resilience.
Goals:
Enhance technical and analytical skills in various topics (ie “Security through DNS – Shifting all the way left”)
Provide a hands-on learning experience through realistic cyber-attack simulations. Creating additional qualified members from diverse populations trained in an inclusive environment.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants.
Outcomes: Upon completion, participants will:
Become expert blue team members with advanced threat detection and incident analysis skills.
Strengthen their incident response capabilities, resulting in reduced response times.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within their organizations.

We have a max of 25 participants for this Study Group. We're partnering with Destination Certification for Cohort 2 of the CISSP Study Group. CISSP Self Paced Study Group features Destination Certification MasterClass https://destcert.com/cissp/. Destination Certification has an impressive 93.6% first time pass rate. Training can be taken in as little as a week or over the course of a longer period of time. Class is normally 1500 but is available at a discounted rate based on our partnership.

SquadCon is a two-day conference that seeks to bring gender diverse perspectives of the contributions, experiences, and issues facing the industry's other. Hackers that are new or from underrepresented communities may not often feel comfortable in existing conferences. SquadCon is a forum for conversations about topics that impact girls, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals, including mental health and all the factors that shape the experiences of marginalized groups in the industry. SquadCon is a cybersecurity conference that will include talks, labs, workshops, discussions, CTFs and panels to move towards our mission of improving diversity in ethical hacking.
SquadCon is an independent conference event in Las Vegas during Hacker Summer Camp scheduled for August 7-8th with a kick off event August 6th. It is run by the makers of Girls Hack Village (BlackGirlsHack and BGH Foundation) and exists to help foster diversity and inclusion in cybersecurity.
